This NEW, short, intensive course is written with the novice to intermediate photographer in mind. If you have taken the beginners course and are now more confident with your camera or are a relatively serious photographer that wants to move on to the next step: this course will be for you. If you like to photograph people while using ambient light, flash or studio type lighting, but you are not entirely happy with your results; this course will explain technique and suggest tasks to try out your new skills. Helpful comments will be made about your work, allowing you to improve and extend your creativity.
At the end of the course, you will have learned all about:
- What sort of equipment you need to take great portraits
- How to take wonderful portraits whilst out and about
- Adding fill light, on and off the camera
- Using flash indoors on and off the camera
- Studio equipment
- Setting up a home or mobile studio
- Use and value of lighting ratios
- Lighting plans and experimenting with light
- How to pose your subject in head and shoulder, three-quarter length and full length shots.
All this and e-mail support for discussion of ideas or problems, study when and where you want to, no travelling to workshops with information that is forgotten within a week, information is on CD that can be referred to again and again.
Learn to photograph friends and family in a more formal studio setting, as well as getting the most from more candid situations. This course is delivered, on CD, as one module, to your home or any other selected address. As well as entertaining information, there is a musical pictorial presentation, e-mail support for 6 months, photo competitions and Newsletters. All this support and information costs only £45 (UK & ROI) including P&P. If you live outside these areas, please contact me for costs.
