'Photo Start Out' is a NEW course for the novice photographer. It has been written sympathetically by a female photographer whose aim is to help you understand what the camera is capable of achieving and how best to control it. After all, you take the photographs, not the camera and all photography starts in the head or a glimpse of a scene out of the corner of your eye!

Whether as a pastime or with the hope of creating a business; this correspondence course is taken at home, at your own pace, and with one year's support by E-mail. If you are interested in photography, either digital or film and would like a little extra help, this course will be for you. The three modules cover the basics of the camera and how all those confusing bits work, then, basic techniques and finally being more adventurous and creative inside and out of the home!

A modular correspondence course

The correspondence course will be sent to you in three modules, one every month and will also give you E-mail guidance for a whole year once you have joined. At the end of each module there are fun pieces of work to complete to help you develop your skills. Once the course is completed, you will receive your 'Photo Start Out' certificate. It is a friendly and personal course, ideal for the novice of any age from teenager to senior and great value when compared to some courses at six times the cost!
